The HP-2SA is a ganged stereo high pass filter and 4X2 summing amplifier designed for mastering and mixing situations that require parallel compression and/or side chain filtering. Each high headroom and wide bandwidth section has independent inputs and dual outputs for maximum flexibility in configuring your the signal (or control) path. The slope of the filter is -6dB per octave and the -3dB down point ranges from 3Hz to 300Hz in carefully chosen increments as to reduce overly bass heavy program material or to serve as a side chain filter to allow low frequencies to pass through a the compressor?s signal path. The summing section is comprised of two independent 2X1 summing amps controlled by the same rotary switch that blends in the processed signal with a fixed level signal over a range of -50dB to +6dB with an additional off position. As with all our products, there are two independent line driver outputs per channel and custom features such as independent channel controls and user defined ranges are available upon request
